By fitting 24 volt system Prime-Movers with "Merlin" Voltage Conversion Units, all trailers can be standerdised with 12 volt globes throughout. Each circuit is individually controlled by a high quality resistance element designed to operate at a particular wattage load. i.e. the total wattage of the globes in the circuit. The weather-proof units are 230mm long with a 51mm diameter except P/No. MR4 (listed below) which is 305mm x 51mm. All units come complete with a mounting flange. The wiring terminals are 6.5mm spade suitable for A.M.P. type push-on connectors. The unit may be mounted on the trailer but 2 connector plugs will be require - one wired through the unit for 24 volt systems and one wired direct for 12 volt systems.
